Employee
evaluation template?
Firstly, you would be better off making sure you have a template
for each role in your business. Obviously each role is going to
have different skills and tasks. It is a matter of listing all
of the skills required in each role. This means thinking of every
aspect of what a team member does on a daily basis and creating
a list.
Once
you have compiled the list you will have a very good base for
creating a template that you can use for evaluating the performance
of any team member in that role. This template can then be used
over and over again and applied to each role. For example, if
there are common tasks within people's roles, then you can simply
adopt these tasks and apply them to the relevant role.
A
very basic example of this could be - "Keep your office desk
clean at all times". This would apply to all people in the
office regardless of the role they perform. Then it is simply
a matter of using this for each role and includinng this in each
person's template.
OK,
this is a very basic example, however, it shows you how simple
it is to develop your own template and then adopt this for each
person in your organization.
You
could lay your template out in columns. There are plenty of places
you can find templates online. Consider what you would like to
pay for a template, and the level of detail that you require.
If you want a simple template, then it may be easier to make your
own and obviously is much more cost effective.
